MAESTRO Installation Instructions:
Installation of MAESTRO requires administrative rights to the machine in question. Please contact your system administrator if you are uncertain if you have administrative rights or if you are unfamiliar with software installation.
- Start by uninstalling any existing version of MAESTRO; do this by opening Control Panel, selecting Add/Remove Programs, and choosing MAESTRO to remove it; if no existing version of MAESTRO is installed, skip to step 2.
- Download the current MAESTRO installation file to a temporary directory and double-click on the file to run it.
- Follow the installation instructions provided in the interactive setup program; if the setup program requests a reboot at the conclusion of the setup make sure you perform this step.
MAESTRO uses a USB hardware lock produced by SafeNet Inc. During the installation process, the Sentinel Drivers will be automatically installed on the machine.
Once the hardware lock driver is installed, the USB SafeNet Sentinel hardware lock needs to be plugged into a functioning USB port on the machine running MAESTRO in order for the software to run in full modeling mode.

The “Full” version of MAESTRO is intended for customers with limited or no internet access on the machine running MAESTRO. This includes the full binaries of the required Microsoft redistributables: Windows Installer v3.1 (~3 MB) and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (~191 MB). The “Lite” version of MAESTRO will download the required redistributables on an as-needed basis during installation. The “Lite” version is recommended for most customers. |
